Changpeng Zhao, or CZ as he is commonly known, is the founder and CEO of Binance, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges. CZ was born in Jiangsu, China in 1966 and moved to Canada with his family at the age of 13. He studied computer science at McGill University and McGill-HEC Montreal before starting his career as a software developer. In 2013, CZ became interested in Bitcoin and eventually founded Binance in 2017. Binance quickly rose to prominence and is now one of the most popular cryptocurrency exchanges in the world. CZ is a well-known figure in the cryptocurrency community and is a vocal advocate for the adoption of blockchain technology.

Yat Siu – Animoca Brands

Yat Siu is the co-founder, chairman, and group CEO of Animoca Brands. He is a serial entrepreneur and investor with over two decades of experience in the global technology industry, having founded or co-founded companies such as Outblaze, Appsstore.com, and Mochi Media (acquired by Shanda Games for USD$80 million). In 2006, he was ranked #9 on Businessweek’s list of Top 25 Angel Investors. Early in his career, Siu worked as a video game producer at Virgin Interactive Entertainment and as an investment banker at UBS. He is a graduate of Oxford University and has been featured in Forbes, The Economist, Financial Times, Bloomberg Businessweek, WIRED, and other prestigious publications. In addition to his work in the technology sector, Siu is also an active philanthropist and serves on the board of directors of several non-profit organizations.

Illia Polosukhin – NEAR protocol

Illia Polosukhin is the co-founder and core developer of NEAR Protocol, a decentralized application platform. He was previously a software engineer at Google, Facebook, and Microsoft. Illia has a degree in computer science from Stanford University. He is passionate about building decentralized applications that are easy to use and accessible to everyone. NEAR Protocol is Illia’s first project in the blockchain space. He is excited about the potential of blockchain technology to create a more open and fair internet. Illia is also a supporter of open source software and believes it can help level the playing field for developers worldwide.

Sandeep Nailwal – Polygon

Sandeep Nailwal is the co-founder and COO of Polygon (formerly Matic Network). He is a computer science graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. He has worked as a software engineer at Google and hedge fund Townsend Analytics. During his time at Google, he was a part of the team that built the infrastructure for AdWords. At Townsend, he helped develop one of the first high-frequency trading systems in the world. He has also been an active member of the Ethereum community since its early days. In 2018, he co-founded Polygon with Jaynti Kanani and Mihailo Bjelic. Polygon is a Layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum that uses Plasma technology to achieve near-instant transaction speeds. It also provides a decentralized network of sidechains that can be used to build scalable dapps. Sandeep is also a founding member of the India Global Blockchain Council.
