NaOn C.S. Pioneering Eco-Friendly Air Purification in Urban Spaces

South Korea, grappling with severe fine dust pollution, finds a beacon of hope in NaOn C.S.’ innovative solution – the Ecofall Air Safety Zone. This eco-friendly air purification system emerges as a critical response to the country’s unique environmental challenges. South Korea’s susceptibility to fine dust from neighboring countries, particularly China, compounded by its mountainous terrain trapping pollutants, has escalated air quality issues. The social cost of this pollution is estimated at a staggering $13.3 billion, underscoring the urgent need for effective solutions.

Introducing Ecofall Air Safety Zone: NaON C.S.’ Answer to Urban Pollution

Ecofall Air Safety Zone, NaOn C.S.’ revolutionary air purification system, transforms city spaces into natural relaxation zones. Designed to combat fine dust pollution, which poses severe risks to respiratory and cardiovascular health, this system significantly reduces the concentration of harmful particles in indoor environments. Therefore, it enhances indoor air quality, creating healthier and more comfortable public spaces.

Waterfall Air Purification System in City

The Ecofall Air Safety Zone is an eco-friendly cleaning system designed for public facilities. It uses circulating water, which is sterilized by underwater UV-LEDs. This “waterfall” forms a water-film filter through a solar power pump to purify the air. This reduces not only fine dust but also harmful gasses and harmful microorganisms. It is ideal for shelter-type bus stops, smoking booths, and metro transfer stops, anywhere with high indoor foot traffic at risk of air pollutants.

The Ecofall Air Safety Zone operates through an ingenious six-step process:

  • Contaminated air is drawn into the water membrane.
  • Pollutants are trapped within this membrane.
  • Solar-powered pumps circulate the water, filtering out harmful substances.
  • Water is sterilized using underwater ultraviolet LEDs.
  • The purification process includes plant-based anti-microbial materials.
  • Finally, clean, filtered air is released back into the environment.

Key Features and Impact of the Ecofall Air Safety Zone

The system boasts impressive efficiency, achieving 70% deodorization and 80% fine dust reduction. Moreover, its microbial sterilization capacity is 99%, effectively reducing carbon emissions equivalent to 49 trees. Utilizing rainwater, groundwater, and solar power, the Ecofall Air Safety Zone is a paragon of eco-friendly technology. In addition, with over 288 units already installed in South Korea, the potential for expansion is enormous, considering the country’s extensive network of bus terminals, subway stations, and other public facilities.

NaOn C.S.’ Ecofall Air Safety Zone is more than an air purifier; it’s vital in combating fine dust pollution in South Korea. The system’s potential for installation in various public spaces, including bus terminals, subway stations, and other high-traffic areas, showcases its scalability and relevance in today’s urban landscape. As South Korea continues to confront its air quality challenges, particularly during certain seasons, such innovative solutions become increasingly crucial.
