MEDISCOPE C by F&D Partners Takes Clinical Imaging to the Next Level

The rise of medical and healthcare diagnostic solution developers has been an exciting development in personal healthcare. One of the more innovative companies in this field is F&D Partners, providing groundbreaking research, innovative systems and products, and much-needed solutions to improve the quality of life for individuals. Using a data-driven approach and leveraging technological advances, F&D Partners is creating new ways to diagnose and treat patients. They have opened up a world of possibilities in medical diagnostics and treatments, which is sure to have long-reaching implications on the state of health in South Korea and around the world.

MEDISCOPE C by F&D Partners

One of the top products created by F&D Partners is MEDISCOPE C. It is a clinical photography device used by departments that require clinical photography management for the appearance of the human body. This can be used for plastic surgery, orthopedics, dermatology, and rehabilitation medicine. When MEDISCOPE C is incorporated into the camera, all data is transmitted wirelessly. Furthermore, the data is then classified automatically, stored, and managed. Therefore, this saves up to 96% for managing clinical photos and provides a quality medical environment for patients and physicians.

Most clinical photographs of the human body/skin are not in the DICOM Standard format. DICOM Standard is the international standard to transmit, store, retrieve, print, process, and display medical imaging information. Currently, clinical imaging is at risk of being lost or entered incorrectly. MEDISCOPE C is integrated with the EMR system of the hospital that manages patient and disease information and automatically converts it into DICOM Standard by combining the taken clinical photos and patient information.

Protecting Patient Information

Protecting patients’ information is essential to providing quality healthcare. Therefore, healthcare providers must remain vigilant regarding safeguarding a patient’s records, ensuring security protocols are followed, and being aware of any known breaches that could lead to data being compromised. Moreover, patients may feel uncomfortable sharing sensitive information with clinicians or other care providers without strong privacy and security measures. This can lead to a lack of trust in the provider and the healthcare system. With MEDISCOPE C, patient and disease information from clinical imaging are protected.

This is possible because MEDISCOPE C inputs the location of the disease through 3D Body Map, which categorizes the appearance of the human body and divides it into unique indexes. 3D Body Map is constructed based on surface anatomy, the standard for collaboration between dermatology and plastic surgery. Validation has been completed with Professor Liam Caffery, the current Director of DICOM Dermatology.

Ultimately, all healthcare providers must ensure that their operational products are up-to-date with current best practices for handling sensitive medical records and patient data to serve better the people who rely on them for their healthcare needs.

Compatible with existing cameras

MEDISCOPE C can be mounted on an existing camera. Simply connect a USB cable to an existing camera. It takes less than 5 minutes to mount it to the top or side of the camera using the L-shaped plate. The clinical photos taken are transmitted wirelessly with the patient’s information. Therefore, you can have a smart clinical imaging environment at a very low cost. It can be used for dermatology, orthopedics, and plastic surgery and is both scalable and versatile. For example, it can be used in operating rooms, doctor’s rooms, etc.

MEDISCOPE C has up to 10 hours of battery and weighs only 290g. Therefore there is no need to purchase expensive special equipment. It can be a very useful tool for patient tracking management. In addition, moving clinical photos from camera to PC and organizing them is easier and faster than ever.

Additional features include:

  • Simple installation and use of general DSLR and mirrorless cameras
  • Storage including disease area location with 3D Body Map during clinical imaging
  • Automatically categorize and store by patient instantly when taking the picture
  • Systematic management and organization of clinical photographs in DermPACS
