2025 Seoul XDC Roadshow Ignites Seoul’s Fintech and Web3 Startup Scene

On March 26, 2025, Plug and Play APAC — a global accelerator renowned for its cutting-edge programs in Fintech, Insurtech, Health, and Smart Cities — successfully concluded its Seoul XDC Roadshow at COEX Startup Branch located in Samseong-dong. The event served as a dynamic platform to introduce XDC’s next-generation payment solutions to a global audience. It also fostered meaningful collaborations with some of Seoul’s most promising Web3 startups.

Seoulz & Company joined the initiative as a local organizing partner, playing a pivotal role from event planning through on-site execution. By ensuring smooth operations and amplifying local engagement, Seoulz & Company helped maximize the event’s visibility and impact within Korea’s vibrant web3 and startup ecosystem, reaching startup founders, field experts, and venture capitalists.

The roadshow highlighted Plug and Play’s ongoing commitment to driving innovation by bridging global blockchain initiatives with local startup ecosystems. With a focus on real-world use cases and scalable solutions, the event brought together startup founders, field experts, and venture capitalists to explore the transformative potential of XDC’s technology in the future of digital payments and decentralized finance along with Seoul’s innovative startups that are striving to drive meaningful change across industries through fintech and web3 technology.

As the event started, XDC Network took center stage with an impactful opening address that set the tone for the entire event. As a premier enterprise blockchain solution, XDC showcased its innovative blockchain-based payment infrastructure, offering a seamless, low-cost, real-time global payment ecosystem.

Following this presentation, the spotlight turned to emerging startups, beginning with CREDER, which demonstrated how it bridges traditional finance with DeFi by digitizing physical assets like gold, silver, and real estate into tradable NFTs and tokens. ComCom.AI then showcased its AI-powered compliance tools designed to enhance the efficiency and security of blockchain transactions. Finally, YourD_ata presented its privacy-focused data monetization platform, specialized in decentralized authentication.

The startup pitches ended on a high note with D’cent, an alumnus of Plug and Play’s XDC payments program. D’cent delivered a compelling finale by sharing its success in developing a cryptocurrency wallet that offers an all-in-one solution that combines hardware and software wallets for optimal security and convenience.

The 2025 Seoul XDC Roadshow marked a significant milestone in fostering innovation across Asia’s fintech and web3 landscape. By showcasing XDC Network’s payment solutions alongside pioneering Korean startups, the event underscored the transformative potential of blockchain in bridging traditional finance with decentralized technologies. This successful event is expected to spark deeper collaboration between global blockchain infrastructure and Seoul’s local fintech innovators, laying a strong foundation for Asia’s Web3 financial ecosystem to move forward.

Building on this momentum, Seoulz & Company also plans to continue creating opportunities like this to help Korean startups connect with global partners and expand into overseas markets, further strengthening Korea’s presence in the international startup ecosystem.
